Description
Summary:
The Project Accounts Analyst position's main objective is to create and maintain financial data records to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
This position will gather financial data specifically on project jobs and present a summarized review to management.
The ideal candidate should possess a vast knowledge of Microsoft Excel as well as other Office operations and computer skills, be proficient with numbers, and confident in their investigative skills.
This position works directly with all manner of employees from Project Managers, Sales Representatives, Department Directors, the CFO, and the VP of Business Development.
Essential Duties Gather and analyze accurate financial data and present a summary to management.
Assist with budget and maintain up to date progress tracking.
Work with project managers on project status and actual budget to cost reconciliations.
Updates and maintains project tracking spreadsheets and financial tracking sheets to ensure real time data.
Invoice customers per contract agreement through paper documents, ERP generated invoices, and/or specific financial websites.
Calculate project discounts and rebates.
Prepare specific reports as requested.
Project Bond management.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (knowledge, skills & abilities) To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Excellent communication (oral & written), time management and organization skills with great attention to detail.
Requires regular, predictable, and punctual attendance.

Operate across organizations to accomplish job duties as well as aid other employees.
Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Willing to perform any required task within the employee's capabilities to effectively meet the needs of the company.
Knowledge of construction billing (AIA, Textura, Etc.
) preferred.

Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer with multiple screens.
Proficiency in the English language is required to effectively communicate.
