Data Entry Specialist Position (Kodak, TN--I40 Exit 407)

Currently seeking a full-time entry-level Data Analyst and Administrator.
KaTom Restaurant Supply, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Data Analyst and Administrator who can work confidently with Excel spread sheets, manipulate large quantities of data, solve data-specific problems and do it all day long.

The nature of this job is mentally challenging. The learning curve for this position is approximately 2 - 3 months. We have over 200,000 products for sale online, and every one of them is touched and administered by this role. Our primary customers are commercial restaurant owners, so many of our products will be unfamiliar and difficult to understand.

This is not just data entry, it is analysis before data entry. Each item is unique and must be described accurately and completely, in 70 characters or less. There is no creativity involved in this position, the results of your work will either be right or wrong. This is an independent role that requires a lot of focus and attention to detail.

Required:
Ability to take initiative and solve problems
Good systems-thinking skills
Able to research issues, focus on details and see large projects through to completion
Experienced with computers and various software programs
Experienced with shopping on the Internet
Solid Microsoft Excel skills; must know how to maneuver, how formulas work and how to filter
Strong organizational skills
Good communication skills
Must be dependable and responsible
Must be a team player

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
